Volunteer Online Chums

Our organization backs the Online Chum Digital Mentoring service, offering tailored assistance to vulnerable residents to help them access the internet and decrease social isolation. Volunteers establish connections with beneficiaries, aiding them in tasks such as setting up email addresses, accessing essential services, managing banking or utilities, and using apps securely. While initially conducted remotely, these roles might involve face-to-face interactions in the future. Volunteers undergo interviews, profiling, DBS checks, and their progress is tracked through training, personal development, and health and safety via individual and group sessions.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer contact our general office on 0191 4661667 or email: office@parkviewproject.org.uk
